Welcome back to Furniture Flip Friday with Beyond Paint! Today, we’re tackling this worn out barstool and giving it a fresh, modern upgrade. As always, we’ll begin by wiping it down with a degreaser to remove any oils or residue. That quick prep step ensures the best paint adhesion for a lasting finish.
The color we’re working with today is Linen, a soft, neutral beige with subtle warm undertones. making it easy to achieve that crisp, timeless look.
For application, I’m using the 3/8-inch microfiber roller from the Beyond Paint Toolkit. One of the great things about Beyond Paint is its all-in-one formula—it primes, bonds, and seals in a single step. The self-leveling properties mean you’ll never see roller marks, just a smooth, even surface.
After applying the first coat, I let the barstool dry for the recommended minimum of 2 hours. Then, I came back to add a second coat. That’s really all it takes—two coats for complete coverage and a professional-quality finish.
Just a couple hours later, the stool was dry to the touch, and durable as well. The result? A stylish, refreshed barstool ready for daily use—all in one day, without sanding, stripping, or priming.
